Effect the Self, Effect the Whole.

“Be the change that you wish to see in the world.” Mahatma Gandhi. A famous Gandhi quote and a fundamental value for those who live with spiritual awareness. Less well known and as insightful  is Gandhi's Seven Dangers to Human Virtue: "Wealth without work. Pleasure without conscience. Knowledge without character. Business without ethics. Science without humanity. Religion without sacrifice. Politics without principle." Knowing what you value enables you to live each day with intention. Intention is an invitation, an expectation of the life experience you desire. Awakened to spiritual values and ideals we desire a better spiritually aligned, self, life and world, and it begins with us. The work we do aligning our consciousness and our lives with these spiritual values is the contribution we make to the whole of humanity and its collective consciousness. By working to enable and empower ourselves, we enable and empower the whole and thereby effect the good we want in the world.
