The Principle and Practice of Needs and Wants Intention 2021: Insight & Inspiration for a New Year! Today we continue our consideration and commitment to Intention 2021, a decision and determination to living intentionally with greater integrity and authenticity in this new year. In this reflection, we will explore a deeper understanding of the principle and our needs and wants and how such helps direct us into a deeper understanding of our truth, right and good in 2021. Again, as we do now every time we take time to consider a principle and practice for living with self-determined intention in 2021, we begin with a reminder of the big why for Intention 2021; why we’re doing this? We affirm again our desire to live with greater intentional responsibility and response-ability for ourselves, the family of humanity, and the world we create and co-create together. To this end, we acknowledge the realization that the truth, right, and good we desire in our lives, and our world, begins with us, with the consciousness of such in us individually, and the demonstration and material manifestation of that consciousness through our intentional thoughts, words, and actions. Our faculties of Faith and Imagination enable and empower us to envision and navigate our way forward, out of the this and here of where we are, into the that and there of the greater truth, right, and good we desire for ourselves. We accept the assurance that what we desire, desires us; that the truth, right, and good that touches our heart with desire, desire us and is ready, willing, and able to come into realization in us, demonstration through us, and into material manifestation in our lives. Faith and Imagination empower us to behold, believe, and become; helps us navigate our way forward, transitioning from the this of where we are, transcending the gravitational pull of our current life circumstances and conditions, and transforming us with integrity into the authenticity of the good we desire. The Divine is more concerned with the good of our higher needs than the impulse of our temporary wants. Faith and Imagination enable and empowers us to navigate our way forward through the maze of our wants to the eventual and infinite good of our needs, fulfilling for us the truth that what we need, rather than what we want, is more important to our long term good. In the words of Mick Jagger and the Rolling Stones: “You can't always get what you want but if you try sometimes, well, you might find, you get what you need.” The desire for what we want may also serve us as stepping stone experiences on our exodus to the blessing of the promised land of fulfilling our eternal need for the realization, demonstration, and manifestation of what is true, right, for each of us, and the collective and common good of the family of humanity. A reminder again today that your decision and determination to live with greater intentional integrity and authenticity in 2021 is a blessing to us all. Your consciousness is a contribution to the collective consciousness of humanity and a contribution to the collective and common good of all. When you take time to affirm what true, right, good in you and your life, you bless the family of humanity with the consciousness, condition, and circumstance of that same truth, right, and good, a true treasure and blessing for one and all. Take time to be relaxed, quiet, calm, and sit in contemplation and reflection of this insight and inspiration. Be open-hearted to the revealing of your own knowing and understanding. Connect, communicate, and collaborate with any insight and inspiration that comes to you.
