Its that time of year again, and most likely we are all preoccupied with our preparations for Christmas. As we run around this advent season, busying ourselves with the social and commercial activities of Christmas, it will do us well to find time to pause, take a centering breath, and come into the sacred space of the spiritual awareness and appreciation of the true advent spirit of Christmas: a time of birthing and coming into a deeper realization of our potential for Love, Peace and Joy. This is the spiritual essence of the advent season and the gift of Christmas, the true treasure of awakening to and birthing our divine capacity for experiencing and expressing authentic Love, perfect Peace and abundant Joy, to a depth and degree that transcends intellectual understanding. In this we find the true and authentic essence of our being. This is the sacred and eternal gift of the divine, given fully and freely to all, to be received with open and wholehearted gratitude, for the onward gifting, fully and freely, to any and all others. In this we are all stewards of the priceless gifts of Love, Peace and Joy, and help fulfill their purpose and presence in the world.
Love desires connection, to bring us into union with our spiritual source and with each other. As we come into a deeper connection, union and spiritual integrity, so we awaken our capacity for healing, health and wholeness. This unfolding of wellbeing vibrates energetically within and throughout every dimension of our being and aspect of our lives. Love is contagious and as we go out into the world in the attitude and intention of Love so we enable Love is each other. As like attracts like, so Love attracts and brings us into connection, union and harmony with all that is aligned with Love and all that is our best and highest good. In Love we are in true unity with our spiritual source and with each other. Peace is the sense of oneness and wellbeing that transcends intellectual understanding. It is a deep awareness of oneness with our spiritual source and an abiding assurance of the good that is unfolding in us and coming into material manifestation in our lives. Peace is an active attitude to being and doing in the world. It is a letting go of stressful striving and a claiming of the assurance of oneness, wholeness and wellbeing. With Peace comes an authentic quiet and calmness to that settles the mind and the heart in the presence and power of Love. In Peace we are able to give and receive, a more authentic demonstration of Love. Happiness is our capacity for Joy happening authentically in the here and now. Joy bubbles up and flows spontaneously from within to without. When we are in spiritual integrity with Love and Peace, Joy just happens. We have come here to experience and express the Joy of life and living. We are here to find and share our Joy with each other. All that opens you to the authentic happiness of Joy happening is yours to be and yours to do. This is the essence of the the true advent spirit of Christmas, that within and through each of us, a higher awareness and demonstration of Love, Peace and Joy may be birthed into our lives and into the world. This is the Christmas gift of our individual and collective best and highest good. In the true advent spirit of Christmas claim and receive the gift of Love, Peace and Joy for you and yours, and set the attitude and intention for now and the new year to be more generous in your giving and receiving of Love, Peace and Joy in the world.
