“There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle.” Albert Einstein. As I’ve aged and staged through life I’ve noticed how easy it is for me to take the experience of life and living for granted. How easy it is to forget to live each day in the awe and wonder, the wow, of the human life experience. Each day I take time to awakened anew to knowing the presence and power of God in the world, and in my life. I see with awe and wonder the display of the Divine everywhere. In the magnificence of the heavens, the beauty of a flower, the laugh of a child, the kind word of a friend, daily I open my heart to rediscovering the awe, wonder, and wow of life and living. In gratitude I go about my day, open-hearted to the mystery and magic of Spirit, able to look beyond appearances and … “To see a world in a grain of sand and a heaven in a wildflower, to hold infinity in the palm of your hand and eternity in an hour.” I see the presence and power of God everywhere and live in the loving embrace of oneness. I feel peaceful and assured that Divine grace and good are sufficient for my every need. As I live daily in the intention of awe, wonder, and wow, I am filled with the attitude of gratitude, grace, and generosity for the mystery and magic that is my life and my experience of living: “One cannot help but be in awe when we contemplate the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the universe. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery every day. Never lose a holy curiosity.” Albert Einstein. This week, my prayer for you is that you too may live awakened in the awareness of the divine mystery and magic of your life, and in all that comes to you in your daily experiences, rediscover your divine awe, wonder, and wow, for life and living.
