Last week I shared the spiritual practice of Walking a Mile in Your Shoes: taking time to ask and receive insight and inspiration on Who am I? What are my roles in life, and what rights and responsibilities do these roles require of me? What do I value? What are my guiding and grounding life principles, and what are my aspirational life ideals? What are my gifts, skills, and talents, and how can I better bless others by sharing these? Is this the world I want to pass on to my children, the next generation, and what needs improving, and what's mine to do?" Self-image, self-esteem, and self-worth affect our life experiences and expressions in a profoundly powerful way. The wisdom of King Solomon reminds us that ‘as we think in our hearts, so are we.’ The ‘truth’ of who we recognize and realize ourselves to be affect our thinking, feelings, speaking, and doing, bringing into material manifestation in the circumstances and conditions of our lives, the ‘truth’ we believe ourselves to be, and thereby ‘as we think, so we are’ and so our lives manifest to be. Rediscovering the eternal, immortal, and absolute truth, the spiritual identity of our Sacred-self, rebirths in us the true knowing of what, why, and who we are. Herein, we are restored and renewed in the authentic wholeness, health, and happiness of our divinity, and resurrected into an elevated and empowered reason and purpose for being, doing, and living. When we live solely from sense consciousness, the ego-self, we are inadvertently participating in our own Sacred-self Identity Theft. We have sacrificed on the altar of materiality the true treasure of our Sacred-self and the rich reward of a life aligned with the truth, right, and good experience and expression of spiritual values, meaning, and purpose. In the discovery and knowing of our true identity, the consciousness and awareness of the Sacred-self, we find our true spiritual integrity, which when rediscovered blesses us with an inside-out spiritual truth medicine, medication, that enables and empowers true and authentic healing, health, and happiness. My prayer blessing for you this week is that you find time for meditation and prayer, and thereby the opening of your mind and heart to the awareness, recognition, and realization of the truth of your Sacred-self. Then releasing the Sacred-self Identity Theft of living from the limited awareness of self of the sense consciousness and ego-self, you will be reborn, renewed, and restored to being and living from the divine wholeness, health, and happiness of your authentic Sacred-self.
