The Diamonds of Divine Ideas

We have a treasure that is beyond priceless and it is the kingdom of Divine Mind, the domain of Divine Ideas. Emmet Fox tells the story of the discovery of diamonds in Souther Africa by a traveler and explorer from Europe. Overnighting in a village, and while eating a leisurely breakfast in the morning, he noticed the african children playing a game similar to marbles. He wandered over to take a closer look and was astounded to realize that they were using dull, pebble looking, uncut diamonds as marbles. He turned to one of the villages elders and asked as to where the children got these "pebbles" and was told that they simply pick them up, all about, from the ground. He eventually traded a bag of tobacco for a bag of uncut diamonds and hastily made his way back to Europe and that initiated the Southern African diamond industry. Today South Africa is, and has been for over a hundred years, one of the worlds top producers and exporters of diamonds. We have the treasure of Divine Ideas in the ground of our consciousness. Coming into spiritual awareness opens our understanding to this Divine treasure and its beauty and brilliance in us, and into our lives.
