How can the everyday, the mundane, serve the higher expression of the soul? The soul is the eternal and infinite spiritual potential of the Divine in each of us. The soul expresses in and through you as twelve Divine faculties, abilities and powers. These are: faith, strength, wisdom, love, power, imagination, understanding, will, order, zeal, elimination and life. Although we distinguish these aspects of the Divine as distinct faculties, all are the experience and expression of the one Divine presence and power in all and everything. The soul is the eternal, infinite spiritual Self and bringing the facilities of the soul into full realization is what is referred to as Self-realization. This is accomplished by setting the attitude and intention to live each day, mindful in the moment, from the higher awareness, faculties and abilities of the soul. In this way you are empowered to live with faith, strength, wisdom, love, power, imagination, understanding, will, order, zeal, elimination and life. As you align with the soul, mindful in the moment, and live from these higher abilities and powers you develop and bring your soul potential into fuller realization; into Self-realization. Lets take a look at the abilities of each of the powers of the soul ... Faith is the ability to see and believe the eternal, the infinite, spiritual potential and possibility of the ordinary, the everyday. Strength is the ability to endure, to persevere and to accomplish your spiritual potential as your highest good. Wisdom is the ability to discern, choose and apply your highest good. Love is the ability to desire, attract and come into union and harmony with your highest good. Power is the ability to have authority, dominion and control over manifesting your highest good. Imagination is the ability to idea, image and envision your highest good. Understanding is the ability to comprehend and know your highest good. Will is the ability to intention and execute your highest good. Zeal is the ability to be inspired and enthusiastic about your highest good. Elimination is the ability to deny, cleanse and release all that hinders the manifestation of your highest good. Life is the ability to affirm, activate and enliven your highest good. Knowing the twelve powers of the soul, and the specific abilities of each one, helps you apply these superpowers to the everyday day events of your life. In this way the otherwise everyday ordinary and mundane are transformed into the experience and expression of the extraordinary and brings you into a fuller realization of your infinite Divine spiritual potential. From time to time throughout the day, take a moment to pause, breathe, center yourself into a fuller awareness of your soul abilities and powers, claim them as your abilities and powers in the moment and task before you, and when you feel that deep assurance of truth, proceed as inspired ... and nothing will ever be the same!
