A Prayer Chaplain and the ministry's prayer chaplain program is part of a spiritual communities pastoral care program. To this degree the prayer chaplain program may be integrated to be used as a first line of contact for members needing help with prayer and / or other community support and services. A prayer chaplain plays a vital part in the prayer consciousness of a holistic, healthy and happy spiritual community. When a full service prayer chaplain program and team are active in a spiritual community members feel more fully connected, and sacredly served, a recognized and honored part of the consciousness of the community.
